Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp

2016 Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp

"I'm All In"

The Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp is a non-profit day camp sponsored by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and staffed by Sheriff's Office personnel.  Its mission is to aid rising 7th-9th graders in making sound decisions and reaching their potential.  The camp features physical and mental challenges, huge games, fun team building activities and lots of hands-on learning opportunities.  Our goal is to provide these students with some additional tools to help them not only to make good decisions, but to be better equipped to succeed at school, at home, and in society.

Our theme this year is "I'M ALL IN" and it is all about challenging kids to rise above societies' and even their own expectations of themselves in their teen years.  This week will be all about pushing past “normal” and encouraging these kids to set and pursue big goals.  This week won’t be easy but these students will have a blast working, learning, and growing together.

The 2016 Camp will be held at Berea High School, 201 Burdine Drive, Greenville, SC 29617  The camp will run from July 11th - July 15th from 8:00am until 4:00pm.  You may drop your child off as early as 7:00 a.m. at the camp.

There is NO CHARGE for this camp and lunch and snacks will be provided.  Parents are, however, expected to be responsible for transportation to and from camp each day.
